Econ Illinois, formerly known as the Illinois Council on Economic Education, was founded in 1951 to help K-12 schools integrate the teaching of economics and personal finance across the curriculum at all grade levels.

Another school year is coming to a close and Econ Illinois would like to thank each economic educator for helping to prepare Illinois youth for success in the future. I, personally, am grateful to have met so many dedicated and engaging educators this past year and I look forward to providing resources to an expanded audience of K-12 teachers each year.
