Virtual Economics
Virtual Economics® Version 4.0 is a teacher’s single-stop resource library for print, web and multimedia resources. Virtual Economics, available on CD-ROM, contains over 1,400 activity based lessons, 51 key concepts, and a glossary with over 500 terms.
Lessons are printable and user-friendly, accessible by searching for concept, grade level (K-12), curriculum piece, subject area or state standard. This revised and updated version incorporates over 25 new and revised publications, improved performance with a faster and easier to use search function, along with updated standards and content including new quizzes, interactive simulations, media clips and online resources.
Through Virtual Economics training workshops, teachers learn to target critical thinking, reading for information and real world math applications as they integrate the common core standards into the curriculum. A complimentary copy of Virtual Economics CD-ROM ($99.95 value) will be made available for each eligible K-12 in-service Illinois teacher who completes the training, while supplies last.
Teachers can receive training on Virtual Economics by attending select conferences and workshops. Watch for Virtual Economics on conference and workshop fliers.

Teacher Feedback, Jenny Horsey, Naperville
Question: Do you use these materials? Please provide feedback for other teachers.
Answer: "I have been using the VE CD for a few years now and love it. I ordered copies for other teachers in the district who are doing personal finance, and they loved the search capability. You definitely have a terrific program there; every economics teacher should have access to it."
